As an ideal image of the modern dressage horse, Fiji impresses with its excellent type and fine elastic movements. Fiji is a chic, large-framed stallion and has excellent basic gaits with a lot of shoulder freedom and strength. In 2023, the For Romance I son was approved by the Oldenburger Verband and is now also approved by the Westphalian studbook.

Fiji is bred by Stal Zwaansbroek in Nieuw-Vennep and is from the champion maker For Romance I. With more than 55 approved sons, champion mares, countless champion horses and successful sport horses, For Romance I needs no introduction. Under Therese Nilshagen, the champion stallion was successful up to and including Grand Prix level.

Fiji’s mother Happy Times ZB is a half-sister of the internationally successful Grand Prix horse Crocket Times (s. Sorento). Happy Times ZB descends from the Grand Prix stallion Charmeur out of an Elite, preferent, sport dressage mare Mitta. Mitta was successful up to Z2 level and is also the grandmother of Amber Hage’s Small Tour horse Groovy Times (s. Zhivago).

Fiji’s fourth mother is the Westphalian mare Najade (Lucius xx x Dorn). She is the mother of the KWPN approved stallion Zandman (s. Amor). Najade is also known as the matriarch of one of the best dressage horse sires in the Netherlands, the approved stallion Sir Sinclair (s. Lord Sinclair) and the approved Don Sarkozy and a considerable number of successful dressage horses up to the highest classes.

The expectations for Fiji are high. He seems to have everything it takes to become a top dressage horse. Powerful, elastic, big movements and a lot of self-carriage characterize Fiji. This has been recognized by many German breeders and we are eagerly awaiting his first group of foals.

This year he will once again be at stud by Pascal Kandziora in Germany.
