The beautifully modeled liver chestnut Filou made a name for himself immediately after his approval in Oldenburg and Hanover. His three fantastic basic gaits, coupled with his cooperative character and willingness to work, made Filou the reserve champion of his performance test with no less than 8.84 points. He received a 9.5 for his character and willingness to work. And he received an 8.5 for his trot and a 9.0 for his canter and walk.

He also made a name for himself in the 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf. He passed with a good score of 8.35, with eight times the mark 8.5. Dinja van Liere describes Filou as a ballerina, with a lot of elasticity.

Filou was bred by Christine Arns-Krogmann, who has already proven herself in breeding with horses such as Isabell Werth’s Grand Prix horse Weihegold. Filou's father is the top sire For Romance I and on his mother's side he carries the beloved Sir Donnerhall blood. Then follow daughters of the Anglo's Lavauzelle AA, Inschallah AA and the thoroughbred Perfekts xx in his pedigree.

Mother Pandora is a large, long lined, thoroughbred looking mare. Her pedigree is a refreshment for dressage breeding. Partly because of this, this interesting mare is very popular at the Oldenburg Studbook. She became champion at the Oldenburger Elite Stutenschau 2011 and has received a high placement several times at riding tests. As a three-year-old she qualified for the Bundeschampionat.

Pandora also produced the approved stallion Don De Niro (v. De Niro). Her daughter Pandora Lady is the dam of the KWPN approved Toto's Design US (s. Totilas). The approved stallions Royal Rhythmik (s. Royal Hit), Sanletto (s. Sandro Hit) and Dream On (s. Depardieu) also come from this damline.

Filou produces long-lined foals with a lot of blood expression and more than sufficient in size. His elegant foals generally move elastically and are light-footed. Filou is a true top sire.
