Iowa Gold sold to Beatrice Buchwald-Hoffrogge
After last years breeding season our elegant Iowa Gold (ex Iggy Pop) had already moved to the stables of Jens and Beatrice Hoffrogge. Now we can also announce that Hoffrogge bought the son of Asgard's Ibiza. We are very happy that Beatrice will continue to train the young stallion!
Iowa Gold is the great-grandson of Isabell Werth's Grand Prix horse Weihegold OLD and bred by the famous German breeder Christine Arns-Krogmann. He is a son of the popular Asgard's Ibiza and descends from the De Niro daughter Weihnira. Weihnira hereself is out of Weihegold's daughter Weihcine (by Fürst Heinrich). Weihcine is also Weigand’s dam, he was the first Reservesieger in Oldenburg at the stallioninspection.
Iowa Golds pedigree is very well known to Beatrice. In the period that she worked for Isabell Werth, she was the rider of Werth's Grand Prix horse Weihegold. She competed the topmare in the Grand Prix. The pair won at the CDI's in Oldenburg, Salzburg and Frankfurt.
Iowa Gold came to our stable as a foal. In March 2020 he was approved by the Westfaler Verband. After the breeding season Iowa Gold moved to Hengststion Hoffrogge where he was prepared for the inspection for the Oldenburger Verband. In December he was also approved in Oldenburg.
